Sweden's Prof. Ake Sellstrom, who was appointed by the UN to lead a delegation to study allegations on the use of chemical weapons in Syria, said on Saturday that no names have been set up yet for the UN delegation to study the allegations. Prof. Sellstrom said that the UN offered him the position but that he did not know when exactly he would begin serving in the UN delegation. Governments of France, Britain and Syria had asked the UN to establish a committee to study allegations on the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
