According to data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Cultural Assets and Museums Directorate, Hagia Sophia Museum was visited by 3,345,347 people last year. The Topkapı Palace Museum had 3,334,925 visitors and 1,888,173 foreign and domestic tourists alike visited Ephesus within the year. Overall, last year a total 28,781,308 tourists visited Turkey's museums and historical ruins, which brought in 280,206,955 liras in revenue.
