Arkadag city is the name of the new capital of the Akhal province of Turkmenistan

Article by the Student of Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute Sanjar Annayev: Arkadag city is the name of the new capital of the Akhal province of Turkmenistan. The corresponding resolution was adopted by the lower house of Parliament and presented on Wednesday, 21 December 2022, at a visiting meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. During the meeting, reports of some chiefs were heard and priority tasks for the implementation of the new city construction project were discussed. The city of Arkadag occupies a total area of 2370 hectares and will be a home for 64,000 people.

        The new administrative center of the Akhal province should become a model for both urban culture and ecology in order to preserve the natural beauty of the construction area. Here, as elsewhere, attention is paid to the implementation of the concept of a «smart city». It should be noted that the concept of a smart city is based on the integration of advanced information and communication technologies, through which a single ecosystem is created that ensures the management of urban structures and services, improving the quality of life of the population. This concept includes a number of constituent elements that lead to the systematic improvement of the social and living conditions of the population, ensuring the availability of modern digital services, as well as the modernization of urban infrastructure and proper monitoring of the functioning and condition of technical equipment.

The "Turkmendemironumleri" state enterprise is the first metallurgical facility, which was solemnly opened by the President of Turkmenistan and became a pride for the entire Turkmen people.

The "Turkmendemironumleri" state enterprise occupies an area of 164 thousand square meters. It combines three main production workshops. The workshop for metal reflux produces 96 thousand tons of products per year, the production capacity of the second workshop is 90 thousand tons per year. 

The placement of modern equipment that meets international quality standards in the "Turkmendemironumleri" state enterprise is proof of concern for the environment and people at the state level. This is also evidenced by the placement of a hot water cooling facility, an oxygen-nitrogen station and a gas emission treatment system. Turkmen people are particularly proud of the use of inexpensive electric energy for melting metal waste in a powerful electric arc boiler. They can also be proud of the fact that young generation, who have received appropriate education, work productively in the name of the glory of the Turkmen metallurgy.

     Receiving qualified education in higher educational institutions and in industrial enterprises of the country is the fruit of the paternal care of our Esteemed President. Young professionals of the era of the great revivals show their skills and strength in the steel industry and in other areas of the developing economy.
