Turkey's Istanbul city was selected "Europe's best destination" in 2013 among 20 European cities by the votes of tourism sector and consumers. According to "European Consumers Choice", Istanbul took the first line after three-week voting, and was followed by Lisbon, Vienna, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Madrid, Valletta, Nice, Milan and Stockholm.  "European Consumers Choice" had selected Lisbon in 2010, Copenhagen in 2011 and Porto in 2012 as the best destinations.
