Police asked the CCTV team to track down two men on bicycles who had assaulted a woman in Hertford Road, and they soon spotted him running into St Josephs Road before coming back and hiding from police in a bush. The CCTV team directed police to the bush in question and he was arrested.Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Organisations & Culture, Cllr Yasemin Brett, said: “This was an excellent of team work between our CCTV team and the police which resulted in the arrest of a suspect. “Such incidents have no place in a civilised society and I am pleased we were able to assist in this individuals detention. I wish the lady in question a full and speedy recovery from her ordeal.”
