The UEFA Champions Festival in London

VATAN OZ/LONDON-UEFA Champions Festival coming to London from 30 May to 2 June. Rudimental to headline Friday Night Show at Trafalgar Square. The UEFA Champions Festival, a four-day family friendly celebration for people of all ages featuring football-related entertainment, live music, giveaways, activations from UEFA Champions League sponsors and much more, will take place in central London from Thursday 30 May to Sunday 2 June. The festival will be held at five locations across the English capital: Potters Fields Park, Regent Street, Somerset House, South Bank and Trafalgar Square.

Festival admission is free and open to all.

The four-day event will kick off with the arrival of the UEFA Champions League trophy at the festival on Thursday 30 May at 11:00 BST. After the opening ceremony, the trophy will then be displayed on Regent Street – which will be pedestrianised, allowing fans the opportunity to take part in a range of activities including penalty shoot-out challenges and fan benches – on Thursday and Friday, when visitors are invited to enjoy a unique experience and take a picture with the most sought-after prize in club football.

The trophy will then be displayed at Trafalgar Square on Saturday, the day of the final, giving visitors one last opportunity to snap a photo with it before the trophy departs for the stadium, where it will ultimately be lifted by the captain of either Borussia Dortmund or Real Madrid CF. The square will also showcase the UEFA Champions League team captains’ jersey exhibit featuring kits from all 32 participants in this year’s competition.

The festival will feature the Ultimate Champions Tournament, a four-team competition comprised of UEFA Champions League legends competing for glory on the UEFA Champions Pitch at Somerset House.
