UK's new digital tax reporting requirements

A free session will guide self-employed individuals and landlords through new digital tax reporting requirements under the Making Tax Digital initiative.

A major shift in the UK tax system is underway with the government’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative, designed to modernise tax administration and reduce the nation’s tax gap. Under the new system, businesses and individuals will be required to maintain digital records and submit tax information to HMRC using MTD-compliant software. The initiative aims to streamline processes, minimise errors and improve overall tax accuracy.

To support taxpayers through this transition, an MTD Information Session will take place later this month, offering valuable guidance particularly for self-employed individuals, landlords and joint property owners. Attendees will learn the steps needed to comply with digital tax requirements and explore ways to improve the efficiency of their business operations.
