Car bomb kills 30 in Damascus

30 people were killed when a car bomb exploded near a mosque

At least 30 people were killed on Friday and 100 others wounded when a car bomb exploded near a mosque in the Wadi Barad region of Syrian capital, Damascus.

The Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) stated that a car bomb exploded near the Esmet Abu Zeyd Mosque, adding those killed included women and children. 

The SRGC said the number of the dead may rise.
