UK will not work with Syria's Assad to fight IS

Britain has ruled out working with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to fight the Islamic State (IS) in the region. U.K. Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said Friday that working with the Syrian regime would not be, “practical, sensible or helpful” and would instead "poison" what Britain was trying to achieve in the region
- Do not leave country, says Iraq to Christians
Iraqi Prime Minister designate Haider al-Ibadi said on Friday that Christian citizens were one of the important elements that made up Iraq and constituted one of the country’s national, religious and sectarian varieties.
‘’We are calling on the Christian citizens to not leave the country,’’ he said.
On Thursday, U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the Islamic State (IS) was ‘’beyond anything that we’ve seen.’’
- IS wanted ransom for Foley
Philip Balboni, one of the top managers at the GlobalPost, where beheaded American journalist James Foley was working, said on Friday that IS militants had asked for a ransom at the end of last year.
- Tribal revolutionaries are fighting against IS
Anbar City President of the Assembly Sabah Kerhut told the Anadolu Agency on Friday that tribal  revolutionaries had clashed with IS for the first time within 13 kilometers of the city of Fallujah in the town of al-Kerama.
Kerhut said the ringleader of the terrorist organization, Ebu Sabit el-Cumeyli, was among the 30 IS members who had been killed.
- City of Falluja under attack by the army
Meanwhile, Fallujah State Hospital official, Visam el-Isavi, told the Anadolu Agency that army troops had attacked different parts of Fallujah.
Isavi said the bodies of 11 people, including two children and one woman, had been brought to morgue of the hospital. Seventeen injured people, including four women and one child, were being treated at a nearby hospital.
- Mujahideen Army launches attack on IS
The Mujahideen Army organization, a Sunni armed group, also launched attacks on IS in Fallujah on Friday.
