 ANKARA (AVRUPA TIMES)

Turkey has detained eleven foreign nationals who are suspected of being Daesh members in south-central Kilis province, Turkish military said on Tuesday.

The suspects were held by border troops on Sunday as they were attempting to cross illegally into Syria from Elbeyli town, as Turkish General Staff forenamed in a statement on its official website.

Meanwhile, eight PKK terrorists, including a woman fleeing from northern Iraq surrendered to security forces in the southeastern town of Silopi, with another one turning himself in Sirnak province on Monday, the statement added.

Troops also detained three PKK terrorists in Sanliurfa's Suruc town, who were trying to enter into Turkey from Syria border, and two more individuals trying to cross into Syria to join the PKK in Mardin's Nusaybin town, it stated.
