Greek Cypriot farmers to breach TRNC border

Greek Cypriot farmers have announced that they are planning to breach the United Nations endorsed cease-fire line which divides the Greek Cypriot-controlled south from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Having gained the permission of the Greek Cypriot parliament, the farmers said that they will enter the UN controlled border zone to regain access to their lands that have been rendered inaccessible by UN agreements. The TRNC Foreign Ministry has said that it would do what was necessary.
