Check Before You Travel for Saturday and Sunday 10 & 11 May 2014

Improvement works will take place on part of the Tube and London Overground while the majority of the network remains open to customers throughout the weekend

To help passengers get around, a huge range of information is available online, via social media and many other resources

For live road updates follow @TfLTrafficNews or go to www.tfl.gov.uk/trafficnews

During the weekend of 10 & 11 May the majority of the network will be operating as there are no planned track works on the Bakerloo, Central,  Hammersmith & City, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, Docklands Light Railway, Waterloo & City lines and LondonTramlink.

Transport for London (TfL) works hard to keep the majority of the transport network open and to provide information and alternative travel options.  Londoners and visitors to the city are urged to “check before you travel,” particularly at weekends, and to allow extra journey time where necessary.

TfL helps passengers to plan ahead, get travel information on the move and work out the best way home at www.tfl.gov.uk .  The website also provides full bus replacement service information during works.  Passengers can check before travelling using the following tools:

Sign up for emails on our website http://tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/social-media-and-email-updates

London Underground

Central line trains are not stopping at Bond Street station until late June, owing to the station being redeveloped to enlarge it and make it step-free. Customers are advised to use Marble Arch instead.

The Circle line will be partly suspended all weekend between Gloucester Road and Aldgate via Victoria, in order to replace track at Mansion House and improve drainage at Blackfriars.

The District line will be partly suspended all weekend between Embankment and Aldgate East as well as between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia). This is for track replacement at Mansion House and drainage improvement works at Blackfriars.
