There are a lot of rumors about the iPhone 6. The latest is a juicy tit bit from Jefferies analyst, Peter Misek in which he hints that there are several prototypes of the iPhone 6 which are being tested by Apple and one of them is a giant screen device. Among the many iPhone 6 prototypes, the most interesting is the 4.8 inch screened device which has a Retina Screen and also a brand new A7 quad core processor. Other touted features include no Home button and complete gesture control features. Well what to infer from this news? Obviously not much since Apple will be surely eying the Galloping Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone with a 4.8 inch AMOLED screen. It will be possible that Apple which has increased the size of its smartphone screen to 4 inches earlier would again not go for another hike in the dimensions of its screen to prevent the fragmentation of its iOS platform. The large screened prototype could also be the cheaper and watered down version of the low cost iPhone which it intends to release later in the year. Apple is also planning to release a cheaper version of its iPhones for China. It is possible that the large screen prototype could be the low cost iPhone which apple will pitch against the Galaxy S3 and will also be priced competitively. With the advent of the new and small but cheaper chipsets can motivate Apple to introduce a low cost iPhone clone.
