UEFA penalizes three clubs for fan racism

According to the statement made by UEFA, some sections of these clubs' stadiums will be closed due to fan racism and sanctions will be applied to the European challenges of the clubs. Steaua Bucharest will receive a sanction due to racist activity of fans during the match against Stromsgodset from Norway. Debrecen are penalized for racist behavior during the game with Northern Irish club Cliftonville, and Maribor will be penalized for racial misconduct during the match against Bosnian side Zrinjski. Romanian club Steaua Bucharest's home ground National Arena's two sections will be closed for the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round's second leg match against Kazakhstan's Aktobe on Wednesday.
