If yes, then you are invited to submit your artworks to the 6th Turkish Community Art Exhibition, organised by Yunus Emre Institute London and the Turkish Consulate General in London!

The Turkish Community Art Exhibition: A Five-Year Retrospective The Turkish Community Art Exhibition has been a remarkable event for the past five years, bringing together hundreds of artists and thousands of visitors from the Turkish community in the UK and beyond. The exhibition has displayed over 500 artworks by over 200 artists of different abilities and mediums, showcasing the rich and diverse art and culture of the Turkish community. Last year’s exhibition featured more than 140 works by more than 60 artists, selected by a jury of notable names. The exhibition has also provided an opportunity for the artists to sell their artworks and increase their visibility. The Turkish Community Art Exhibition is a proud achievement of the Yunus Emre Institute London and the Turkish Consulate General in London, and a testament to the power of art and solidarity.

What is the Turkish Community Art Exhibition?

The Turkish Community Art Exhibition is an annual event that aims to create an opportunity for established, emerging and amateur artists of the Turkish community in the UK to exhibit their original works, promote solidarity and unity among them, and connect them to art-seekers. The exhibition welcomes all forms of creative art, from paintings to digital arts, from photography to short films, and from traditional arts to contemporary art, sculptures, installations and more!
Why should you participate? By participating in the exhibition, you will not only get a chance to display your artworks at the Yunus Emre Institute London’s art gallery in Fitzrovia, but also to sell them to interested buyers. Moreover, you will be featured in the online Exhibition Catalogue, which will be accessible to all art lovers across the world. You will also be evaluated by a jury of notable names, including the Turkish Republic’s Consul General of London, Bekir Utku Atahan, Director of Yunus Emre Institute London, Dr Mehmet Karakuş, and a group of noted UK-based Turkish artists. 


How to apply? Applying for the exhibition is easy and free! All you need to do is fill out the online application form and upload your artworks by February 15th, 2024 (Extended Deadline). You can submit up to three artworks, and they must be original and not previously exhibited. When is the exhibition taking place and where? The exhibition will take place at the Yunus Emre Institute London’s art gallery in central London between March 5, 2024, and March 25, 2024. The opening ceremony will be on March 5, 2024, at 6:30 pm. The exhibition will be open to the publifebc from Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 6:00 pm, and on Saturdays, 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
