Emma Supple elected as the new Mayor of Enfield

Emma Supple has been elected Mayor of Enfield during the Annual Council Meeting held today at Enfield Council in north London. Chris Joannides was also appointed Deputy Mayor during the meeting.

In a statement released by Enfield Council, it was said that Mayor Emma Supple and Deputy Mayor Chris Joannides will represent the borough at hundreds of official events over the next year and support local charities.

During her term in office, the new mayor is expected to maintain close engagement with the community, encourage volunteering initiatives, and support the work of local charitable organisations.
