Check Before You Travel Saturday and Sunday 18 and 19 January 2014

Improvement works will take place on the Tube and London Overground, although the majority of the network remains open to customers throughout the weekend

To help passengers get around, a huge range of information is available online, via social media and many other resources

Transport for London (TfL) works hard to keep the majority of the transport network open and to provide information and alternative travel options. Londoners and visitors to the city are urged to “check before you travel,” particularly at weekends, and to allow extra journey time where necessary.

TfL helps passengers to plan ahead, get travel information on the move and work out the best way home at www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews.   The website also provides full bus replacement service information during works. Passengers can check before travelling using the following tools:

Sign up for emails on our website tfl.gov.uk/emailupdates

Go to www.tfl.gov.uk/check
