Turkey extended two billion USD to Egypt, and one billion USD of this money had been put into Central Bank in December 2012, and the remaining one billion USD was allocated to infrastructure projects in the country. Hegazy said that Egyptian government decided to use one billion USD to develop infrastructure services and to purchase buses fuelled by natural gas. Hegazy appreciated Turkey's help to Egypt which had been passing through a sensitive period.
