Teenager injured in Alton Towers crash

Leah Washington had her left leg amputated above the knee after the accident on The Smiler. Alton Towers has reopened almost one week after an accident seriously injured four people on one of its rollercoasters.One Direction star pays tribute to Alton Towers crash victim. Leah's father confirmed yesterday that the 17-year-old has had to have her left leg amputated. One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson says his thoughts are with 17 year old Leah Washington who had to have her left leg amputated after last week's crash on the Smiler ride at Alton Towers.(ITV News)
