A police helicopter search team found Ms Bevan's body in the Avon Gorge close to the Clifton Observatory, on Wednesday evening. Body of a woman found in Avon Gorge identified as missing mother, as search continues for six-day-old baby amid criticism of Bristol's St Michael's Hospital. The body of a woman found in Avon Gorge last night has been formally identified as missing mother Charlotte Bevan, as the search continues for her six day old baby. Ms Bevan, 30, walked out of St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol on Tuesday with her newborn daughter, Zaani Tiana, wearing no coat or shoes and with the child wrapped only in blankets.Police are continuing to search for the six-day-old baby in the deep ravine where her mother's body was discovered. Officers are not searching in any other locations.A police statement said: "Our thoughts remain with Charlotte's family and partner Pascal."  Telegraph.co.uk
