Mavi Marmara flotilla raid trial to continue today

The fourth trial in the case opened regarding the Mavi Marmara, the flotilla on which nine Turkish citizens were murdered by Israeli forces while taking aid to Gaza, will be conducted today. The initial trials of the case at the 7th Istanbul High Criminal Court were conducted on November 6th, 7th, and 9th. During the first trial, the plaintiff and victims were heard, and it was decided that the conclusion of the notifications prepared to be sent to the defendants be awaited. The court ruled that the demands regarding the arrests of the defendants be considered based on the results of the notifications. Former IDF Chief of General Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, former Commander of the Israeli Navy Eli Marom, former Air Force commander Amos Yadlin, and former Air Force Intelligence Chief Avishay Levi are charged with intentional killing and extortion in a trial in which 450 complainants from 37 countries are participating. The fourth trial of the case will take place tomorrow at 09:00 at the Caglayan courthouse.
