David Burrowes said: “It is great news that there are now over 500 more people in work in Enfield Southgate compared to January last year with a 1.2% reduction in unemployment across Enfield. That means over 2,400 more people bringing home a regular pay packet, giving themselves and their family a more secure future.
“There is still more to do, but these figures show we need to stick to the Conservatives’ long-term plan to fix the economy. That plan is getting people off benefits and into work, and delivering a more secure future for people in Enfield who want to work hard and get on in life.”
