Pegasus expands its UK network Launches London Gatwick Istanbul route

LONDON (9 April 2015) – Turkey’s leading low-cost carrier and fastest growing airline Pegasus Airlines launches flights on 1 May between London Gatwick and Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen, and onto destinations across Turkey and beyond as well as to North Cyprus. Flights can be booked now on www.flypgs.com/en with fares starting at just £39.99 one way, including taxes and charges. This new route flying between London Gatwick and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen will operate six days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, connecting on to further destinations across Turkey, including top summer destinations, cultural hotspots and gourmet havens, and beyond. With the launch of this Gatwick route, Pegasus now flies a scheduled service at great value to 30 destinations in Turkey and 59 in the rest of the world, bringing its total network to 89 destinations in 37 countries.

Commenting on the launch of Pegasus' newest route, Guliz Ozturk, Pegasus Airlines' Chief Commercial Officer, says: "We are delighted to be launching our London Gatwick route. Pegasus will host a launch event at Gatwick Airport, details of which will be shared with press.

Pegasus guests can now fly to 91 destinations in Turkey and beyond with a total scheduled service to 31 destinations in Turkey and 60 in the rest of the world across 37 countries.

Pegasus connects London Gatwick to a total of 45 destinations in Turkey and beyond via Istanbul including 29 destinations within Turkey: Adana, Alanya (Gazipasa), Ankara, Antalya, Balikesir/Edremit, Batman, Bodrum, Dalaman, Denizli, Diyarbakir, Elazig, Erzincan, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hatay, Izmir, Kahramanmara , Kayseri, Konya, Malatya, Mardin, Mus, Nevsehir, Samsun, Sanliurfa, Sivas, Trabzon and Van; and 16 other international destinations: Almaty, Beirut, Bishkek, Doha, Dubai, Hurghada, Kharkiv, Krasnodar, Kuwait, Lviv, Mineralnye Vody, North Cyprus (Ercan), Sharm El-Sheikh, Tbilisi, Tehran and Tel Aviv.
