I’ve just discovered twins, Alizey and Saanieh Mirza, who are of Turkish descent as well as Azerbaijani and Iranian.
The girls are becoming well known for their fabulous fashion blog, Pintsized Fashionista, http://www.pintsizedfashionista.com/. I love the name! I think the first rule, when making a blog, is to choose a good name. Well the girls have done just that.
The twins were born and grew up in London but now reside in Dubai. Currently they are being hailed as the Olsen Twins of Dubai. At just sixteen years old, the girls are doing really well for themselves, and it looks like they are set to make it big in the fashion world.
Their blog is action packed and rammed with lots of fabulous pictures and fantastic pieces of advice, tips and info on anything fashion related. You name it. Not just clothes. It really conveys to its audience that living life is an art. Might I also emphasize, the photography is absolutely amazing throughout the site. Not only that, but the articles are really well written.
I’ve been reading about how good fish is for our diets to sporting Mickey Mouse ears to how comfortable Juicy Couture tracksuits are to travel in. I’m really fond of this site and could spend hours on it. It’s a real gem to find. I’m really impressed with how sophisticated and fun the site is.
There are different categories on the blog from “Beauty” to “Wishlist” to “Interviews”. I love the section on “Fashionable Food” which is dedicated to some extremely cool looking restaurants. Food is no longer just about eating, it is so much more, and it can be so mundane eating the same thing every day. When you’re with company, you want to be in a special atmosphere that offers something that stands out. That’s why I’m so pleased that the blog has a section dedicated to “Fashionable Food”. It is very inspiring.
There has been a lot of press around the Mirza twins and they’ve even appeared in Time Out Dubai, OK! Magazine Middle East, Grazia Middle East, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s Best Dressed Women 2012 etc. I think the twins are set to be massive. I’m looking forward to hearing more about them in the future.
