TYPOS at Camden Fringe Festival‏

Theatre, from 15th to 17th August at 18:30pm... Harriet and Joe spend their days side by side in a dingy London office working a monotonous job. All they seem to have in common is their loneliness. So when love rears it's ugly little head, together they are given the chance to change their lives completely. Typos focuses on the relationship between two people who find it difficult to express themselves, who spend most of their day working together, and yet know nothing about each other. It is a story about the consequences of honesty. A naturalistic two hander exploring the complexity and hopelessness of love in London, Typos is written and performed by Owen Jenkins and Alexine Lafaber and directed by Arthur Mcbain. Established in 2013 by Owen Jenkins and Arthur Mcbain, Perch Theatre company is dedicated to creating fresh, exciting and urgent theatre, experiences and reactions that will never be forgotten. With their successful debut, The Haunting of Godstow, a ghost play terrifying audiences in London and Guilford, Perch Theatre company are interested in finding the humour within the tragedy of everyday life. Their work takes inspiration from a recent collaboration with DryWrite, working with Patrick Marber and Phoebe Waller-Bridge on new writing performed at Soho Theatre. Arthur Mcbain has just finished acting with the RSC on an international tour, and along with Owen Jenkins and Alexine Lafaber, recently graduated from The Oxford School of Drama.
