2nd Battle Of The Bands Round Set To Rock London Later This Month

With just 40 of the original 70 acts left, the remaining events promise to deliver the very best new music the capital has to offer. On Sunday 24th August, the top bands will fight it out in the 2nd battle in Soho at 5pm. Held at popular London nightlife hotspot Zebrano Soho, the weekly events have been packed full of fun, laughter and a whole lot of talent.  Over the past month, the well-known talent exposure agency has treated London music lovers to an extravaganza of live acts, each with a collective aim of wowing the crowd with high energy tunes.  In archetypal battle of the bands style, the audience were given voting power over which acts preceded to the next round. Now, only 40 of the best bands remain, each determined to be crowned the next Battle of the Bands champion. The huge selection of musical talent has blown away attendees and event organisers alike, with Moeez Ali, Battle of the Bands guest exclaiming, "How come they are not famous?! They're all very impressive!"

Anais Lefeuvre, Be On The Scene Event & Community Manager said, "The acts are so good it is always tricky to hand the invitation to the next round to only half of the contestants when, in the end, all are top-level performers.  The second round is set to be even more exciting than the first, and it’s one of the city’s most anticipated music events of the month."

Advancement to the second round sees bands move one step closer to the fantastic prizes up for grabs. A £500 music store cash voucher is the perfect way to upgrade an instrument while a three day recording studio session at Blue Box Studios, interview session and £400 Ditto Music distribution package represent an incredible opportunity for professional progress.

Londoners will find Battle of the Bands contestants fighting it out for the crown every Sunday until October 5th at Zebrano Soho, 18 Greek Street, W1D 4DS. Event organisers would like to stress that the venue is not to be mistaken for the Carnaby St cocktail bar of the same name.  Round two is set to kick off on August 24 with a new start time of 5pm.

Entrance is free for all spectators which makes Be On The Scene’s Battle of the Bands a great night out for those wanting to check out the cream of the London music scene crop.

Anais Lefeuvre added, “Only the audience can decide the fate of these talented bands – they are in control to ensure the right acts are chosen to inch a step closer to their musical dream.”
