Historic Hz. Omar mosque destroyed in southern Syria

In a video appeared on a website close to opposition forces show the destruction of the minaret of the historic mosque. Historic Hz. Omar mosque, which was built during the term of Second Caliphate Omar four years after death of Prophet Mohammad, was the last victim of the latest round of attacks against historic sites of the protracted war between forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad regime and the opposition fighters who are seeking to topple the regime over the past two years. The opposition forces put blame on the regime troops which use tanks and heavy artillery to crush the rebellion. In a video appeared on a website close to opposition forces show the destruction of the minaret of the historic mosque.
