Bayern Munich can not be stopped

Leaders Bayern Munich strecthed their unbeaten streak to 45 games as they beat Nürnberg 2-0 away on Matchday 20 of German Bundesliga. Striker Mario Mandzukic and captain Phillip Lahm scored to keep the Bavarian side 13 points ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen. Bayer Leverkusen got three points in Mönchengladbach thanks to their South Korean forward Son Heung-min's goal in the 63rd minute. Leverkusen manager Sami Hyypia said they had done the best that they could in the second half. Third-placed Borussia Dortmund protected their position by beating struggling Werder Bremen 5-1 at Bremen's home. Robert Lewandowski (2), Henrikh Mikhitarian (2) and Manuel Friedrich scored for "Die Schwarzgelben" (The Black and Yellows). Bremen's only goal came at 89th minute from Turkish-origined player Levent Aycicek. Hannover 96's manager Tayfun Korkut suffered his first loss against Schalke 04 by unansweered goals by Jefferson Farfan and Max Meyer. Hannover stayed in tenth place despite the result.
