Turkish PM condemns Boston attacks

AVA, Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan condemned the Boston marathon attacks and sent a letter of condolence to US President Obama.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan Tuesday condemned the blasts at the Boston marathon vehemently. Erdogan sent a letter of condolence to US President Barack Obama, Turkish Prime Ministry sources said. Erdogan said in his message that the attacks not only targeted the Americans but also peace of the nations and added, "Every single life lost due to attacks of violence leaves a deep scar on the collective conscience and memory of humanity." He expressed his condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives and to the people of the US on behalf of the Turkish people and government.
