Dear avid reader, I have compiled a list of a few books that I came across this year, some new, some old, some humorous, disastrous, shocking, bewildering and enchanting. Smith’s autobiography was awe inspiring, Bolano’s 2666 was incredible whilst Forster’s novels forces one to laugh out and guffaw, so do take a look at this list and take a pick or two, or three. I wish you all a very happy new year, I hope it opens us all up to a new world through the written world, may it be mind altering, heart moving and full of imagination.
