ANKARA (AA) - Sessions of the Turkish Parliament have been posponed till October 1, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament announced on Thursday. Parliament will only convene on 28th of August for Recep Tayyip Erdogan's swearing in as president. Parliament is also expected to convene to approve a new cabinet in September. The General Assembly conducted its last debate before October 1 on the 150-article 'bag of bills' which includes bills relating to the mining industry (tabled after a coal mine disaster in May killed 301 miners in western Turkey). The majority 126 articles of the package have been passed. The remaining 24 articles of the omnibus bill will be debated in the parliament after October 1. The censure motion, which has been submitted by Turkey's main opposition party (CHP) against Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, accusing him of contradictory statements regarding 49 Turkish consulate staff seized by IS-led militants in Iraqi city of Mosul nearly two months ago will not be debated as it didn't make it onto the agenda within the 10 days specified by Parliament. Meanwhile Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek will call the MPs for the extraordinary session on Augusut 28, and Turkey's first directly elected President Erdogan who got 51.79 percent of the vote in Sunday's presidential election will take the presidential oath before the Turkish Grand National Assembly according to Turkish constitution
