Turkish Airlines cancel Erbil flights amid clashes

ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish Airlines flights to and from Erbil will be canceled from August 10 due to security reasons, the company has announced. The announcement came after clashes between the militant group the Islamic State (formerly known as ISIL) and Kurdish Peshmerga forces continued near the city in Iraq's autonomous Kurdish region.
Passengers are requested to get information on their flights by phoning 444 0 849 or checking the airline's website before arriving at the airport.
