Turkey didn't impose entry visa on Libyans

The official insisted that Libya has "excellent" relations with Turkey and is seeking to boost bilateral relations.

"Although the Turkish embassy in Libya has denied that, some local media outlets continue to publish reports about Turkey will start as of March asking Libyan visitors to obtain entry visa in advance," Wafaa Bugaighis, the ministry's undersecretary, told Anadolu Agency on Sunday.

She insisted that Libya has "excellent" relations with Turkey and is seeking to boost bilateral relations.

"The two sides have no plans to take steps that might restrict the travel of nationals between the two countries," Bugaighis added.

In November 2009, Turkey and Libya signed a deal to lift the visa requirements between the two countries.
