Actress Katie Robinson played Amy, and was shown in character throughout the documentary drinking, self-harming and taking drugs. Later scenes showed 'Amy' throwing up into a toilet and lying face down on her bed before being discovered by her security guard. Alex Foden, a friend of the Back To Black singer and stylist, appeared in the programme to share his memories of the troubled star. He said: 'I used to wake her up and the minute she woke up she used to roll over and smoke heroin and smoke that without even leaving the bedroom. She'd see things that weren't real, she'd get paranoid over things that weren't even there.' (Metro)
