The incidents happened on Saturday in Tuz Khurmatu, where a suicide car bombing, followed by a suicide attack at mosque, killed at least 12 people and wounded 75, a police said.
Turkmens in Iraq generally, and in Tuz Hurmatu in particular, are consistently subjected to the terror attacks almost on a daily basis with no action being taken by the authorities to protect them.
This attack took place after two days from the kidnappings of 2 Turkmen university students while they were on their way from Tikrit to Tuz Hurmatu.
In another Turkmen town Tal Afar 420 km Northwest of Baghdad, A car bomb exploded Saturday evening near a police checkpoint in Tal Afar, killing a policeman and 2 civilians and wounding 2 policemen and 18 civilians, police sources said.
Turkmen of Iraq are suffering from genocide and ethnic cleansing; they are exposed to daily violation of human rights, their security is absent, their economic situation deteriorates and they flee from their land with no initiative from the authority to take an action to protect them.
