Turkish women reign world volleyball for 4 years

Since 2010, Turkish clubs gains six world titles in FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship

Turkish clubs, Vakifbank and Eczacibasi VitrA, reigned supreme to retain the women’s volleyball title in the last four world championships.

Vakifbank was crowned the champion of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship in 2013, 2017.

On Sunday, reigning world champion gained the gold medal in the 2018 championship in China after beating Brazil's Minas Tenis Clube 3-0 in the final.

Eczacibasi VitrA clinched the same title in the 2015 and the 2016 championships.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce is the winner of the 2010 championship.

Turkey tops world rankings

Top clubs from each continent compete in FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

Turkish clubs triumphed over their opponents six times to gain the world title in the tournament over the last nine years.

Turkey topped the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship after winning 6 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals in the tournament.

Vakifbank ranks first in the world championships with 3 gold medals.

16 international cups since 2010

Turkish clubs won 16 cups in the top international tournaments since 2010. 

Vakifbank won 4 CEV Champions League and 3 World Club Championship.

Eczacibasi VitrA won 1 CEV Champions League, 2 World Club Championship and 1 CEV Cup.

Fenerbahce won 1 CEV Champions League, 1 CEV Cup, 1 World Club Championship, while Bursa Buyuksehir Belediyespor won 2 CEV Challenge Cup.
