John Kerry begins his UN talks in New York

United States Secretary of State John Kerry has launched his talks within the framework of the High-level Meetings of the 68th Session of United Nations (UN) General Assembly. At New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel where the US delegation is staying, Kerry met with his Egyptian counterpart Nabil Fahmy and United Arab Emirates' (UAE) foreign minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Afterwards, top US diplomat held a meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan at Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Besides, Kerry also met with European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton after his talk with Saudi Arabian foreign minister Saud al Faisal.
