E-Visa applications increase

The electronic visa application system "e-Visa", for tourism or trade purposes that allows the bearer to enter Turkey attracted great attention. The number of applications since the beginning of e-Visa on April 17 is more than 100,000 people and can be done only in 2 minutes and 14 seconds. According to information from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, in the period from April 17 till June 21 the number of e-Visa applications was 103,646. Only on June 20 the number of e-Visa applications were 3,686 and the total visa fee was USD 2.167 million. The most visa applications came from England with a number of 15,417, on the second place the United States with a number of 14,053 and Norway on the third place with 12,092 applications.
