iPad Craze

Elisha Fields

According to rumors, Apple is trying to make a deal with Turkey to supply millions of Turkish students with iPads. It feels like Apple came out of nowhere and took over the world.

Why the iPad though? Why not just a regular laptop? It seems like everyone is going crazy for the iPad just because everyone else is! If they're going to start donating iPads then why not the other latest gadgets? I want cable tv, please can I have that? The problem with the iPad though is, what you going to do if you want to word process? I've heard rumors that there's apps you can download for that but then it just seems to get complicated. Why can't they just have something similar to Microsoft Word already on the iPad? Yes, we have notes but it's not the same. Basically I don't think the iPad is top notch for when one wants to send off CVs and write essays! I've got to say I do miss Microsoft Word, attaching files, and using different fonts.

On a good note, the iPad is very low maintenance. Everyone has been through the stress of a laptop that has problems and viruses. What else? I know many proud owners from older generations who feel like they're keeping in with what's new by owning one! Anyways right now I am using notes on my iPhone, which I also use on my iPad, and I don't even know how many words I've written! And that's a good excuse to finish this note.
