Yunus Emre Institute in London celebrated finishing the 2018-2019 academic year

Yunus Emre Institute in London completed the 2018-2019 academic year of the Turkish Courses and celebrated wıth the granting of certificates to all successful students

In the opening speech, Yunus Emre Institute in London Director Dr Mehmet Karakuş congratulated the students who attended and completed their Turkish courses successfully. Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in London Çınar Ergin during his speech stated that students should keep speaking Turkish despite the possibility of mistakes in order to build confidence.

Mr. Ergin, Dr. Karakuş, London Education Councillor Hasan Ünsal and Yunus Emre Institute in London Education Coordinator Dr. Kübra Yıldırım Khan granted the accomplished students certificates.

The Institute gave some presents to those who achieved C2 level, the highest level, and completed 5 years at the Institute. Holders of certificates said they were happy to learn Turkish culture during the classes, which will remain as beautiful life long memories.

At the end of the ceremony, famous musicians Baha Yetkin (oud) and Melisa Yıldırım (kabak kemane) performed a concert with Turkish songs which the students accompanied and added to the festivities. Finally, a group of students sang a song called Hayat Bayram Olsaand the ceremony ended with Turkish refreshments and group photos.
