Istanbul will host an international puppet festival

The 16th "Istanbul International Puppet Festival" will start on May 8 with participants from more than 15 countries. The annual International Istanbul Puppet Festival will host many famous national and international puppeteers from all around the world. There will be exhibitions and work-shops on puppet as well as shadow theater with video performances from traditional puppet shows till modern ones. The festival will begin on May 8 and will last until May 19, where 30 groups from 15 countries will perform 60 shows. The festival will start with the "Hotel De Rive" play, produced with the cooperation of Germany, France and Switzerland, on May 10 at the French Culture Center.
