Hezbollah should be taken out of Syria

Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu said on Friday that they had supported Hezbollah in its honorable fight in Lebanon; however, Hezbollah should be taken out of Syria. Davutoglu and Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Akbar Salehi held a joint press conference in Turkish capital Ankara. Davutoglu said, "We are completely against the external intervention in Syria, " including Hezbollah. "All foreign actors should be taken out from Syria. Hezbollah, which went into Syrian cities including Al-Qusayr, should be also taken out from Syria," said Davutoglu. Davutoglu drew attention to recent incidents in Egypt, saying,"Turkey will appreciate all aid to Egypt which will eliminate the economic troubles of all Egyptians."

Davutoglu underlined that the most valuable aid to Egypt was to establish a democratic administration which would take its power from the will of the public.

"No administration, which did not take its legitimacy from the will of the public, could achieve its targets with economic aids," said Davutoglu.

Everyone should respect public will in Egypt

Davutoglu underlined that everybody should respect the will of the Egyptian public who displayed their will in last year's election.

Salehi touched on the incidents in Egypt, saying, "Egyptians will determine their future. The public will should be confirmed whatever it is."

The two foreign ministers want a ceasefire in Syria

Davutoglu and Salehi expressed their wish for a ceasefire in Syria at least during Ramadan.

Davutoglu said that they considered a ceasefire to be necessary during Ramadan, notably in Homs.

Salehi confirmed the wishes of Davutoglu, saying, "If there werea cease fire in Syria, the Muslim Syrians could live Ramadan in safety and peace."
